The technical education sector is one of the most important sectors that contribute to build modern societies and support the development of nations. This, in fact, has led numerous countries and organizations over the globe to allocate huge budgets and investments in organizing scientific conferences and symposiums. These events were committed to diagnose and guide the educational process to participate in societies' developments and raise the awareness about knowledge economies. This conference, in fact, comes at a time where the education sector in Palestine is encountering numerous challenges.
We believe that the collective and joint work stems from the openness of the university to the local and international community through the various related institutions will have a positive impact on the outcomes of the conference; recommendations, proposals, policies and strategies that will ensure the enhancement of the quality of technical education outputs by creating a knowledge-based Palestinian workforce has an efficiency and ability to adapt, excellence and creativity to contribute to the process of reducing poverty and advancing the comprehensive social and economic development in Palestine, So that the Intermediate Studies college sought to connect with educational, economic, industrial, agricultural, communicational and professional institutions, variety locally, regionally and internationally, Also to connect with prominent figures have a pioneering and unique experiences in establishing and developing the quality of technical education and training to be partners and sponsors with the University of Palestine at this conference.
Vision:
Modernization the technical education with the latest technological means, which keep up with the job opportunities, in addition to providing the fields of work for graduates of technical education, it is a basic necessity in the Palestinian society to face the severe and stifling economic crises faced by the Palestinian society with the dramatic change in the requirements of the local and international market in keeping with technological and scientific developments in the era of globalization.
Mission:
Adaptation of Technical education strategies with labor market due to short- and long-term labor force needs so that technical education can estimate the size of labor and the required disciplines that must be provided to the extent required by the labor market.
General Objective:
To identify the reality of technical education in Palestine and the problems and challenges facing it, and to agree on the policies of basic strategies that will develop and modernize technical education in accordance with the needs of the local and international market.
Specific Objectives:
1. To identify the reality and quality of technical education and training in Palestinian and international institutions.
2. To explore the problems and challenges facing and hindering the development and modernization of technical education in Palestinian and international institutions.
3. To identify the new technology and the extent to which the local and international market needs technical manpower in its production, operation and maintenance
4. To determine the nature of the mutual relationship between technical education and the needs of the local and international markets.
5. To review of some regional and global models of change and development of technical education and training to find ways, policies and strategies that will promote and develop technical education and training in Palestinian institutions.

As the academic year 2018-2019 is the year of
educational quality as it was called by the presidency of the University of
Palestine, we found in the Intermediate Studies college's Deanship, academic
and administrative staff to organize an
international conference on "Technical Education in the Era of
Globalization" To improve the quality of technical education and
training in Palestinian institutions to cope with the rapid technological and
scientific development in the era of globalization and the accompanying changes
in the requirements of the local and international market.
We
believe that the collective and joint work that stems from the openness of the
university to the local and international community through the various related

We hope that this
conference will contribute to the creation of a unified framework encompassing
all components of technical education & training in line with the needs of
the local and international market of the technical workforce, and promoting a
culture of cooperation and integration between educational institutions and
local and international community institutions in order to advance sustainable
and comprehensive development through the development of human resources.

What does the conference include?
• Scientific and research papers covering issues related to the themes of the conference (reality, challenges, strategies, mutual relationship between education and the labor market, the forms of modern technology required locally and globally).
• Successful regional and international experiences and experiences in modernizing technical education and training and adapting it to the needs of the labor market from a technical workforce.
• Interventions, discussions and debates between educational institutions, training centers and professional operational institutions.
The conference opens the door for all institutions related to education and technical training, international development and relief institutions, and industrial, agricultural and economic institutions to provide their contributions by the best means and methods according to their vision as follows:
1) Scientific and research paper prepared in accordance with the instructions on the website of the conference to be evaluated by the competent scientific committee and then accepted or rejected, and if it is accepted, it is chosen to be presented in the form of a lecture in no more than ten minutes.
2) Partial or comprehensive development projects proposed or through which one of the components or components of technical education, especially the technical training field, has been developed. It presents the stages of the development project from the beginning of the measurement through planning and implementation, reaching the objectives, evaluating the project outputs, , Presented in the conference through a documentary film or presented by the appropriate means envisaged by the institution providing the project supported by (models, documents for the developmental stages, or side exhibition in the conference dedicated to the specific time in the agenda of the conference).
3) Address controversial issues on the priorities, methods, policies and strategies for the unification, development, modernization and harmonization of technical education and training in partnership between two or more institutions; and submit a comprehensive proposal for the application of the corresponding institutions' debate containing the addresses of the elements to be discussed in the dialectical issue And the time limit for interventions and debate with the conditions that must be followed in the debates to respect the opinion and opposite opinion, and the way to respond to the opposite direction tact, and not to depart from the objectives of the Conference).

Abstract Acceptance / Rejection letter will be sent on Saturday, the 17th of Aug
2019.
3. The
deadline for receiving the Full Paper is Tuesday, the 17th of Sep 2019.

In order to
guarantee great chance for having the paper accepted and published, it is
recommended that authors MUST stick to the guidance provided underneath:
1. The research
should be linked to one of the conference themes.
2. The conference accepts all kind of scientific research: Theoretical
Research, Empirical Research, and Mixed Research. All are welcomed.
3. The research
must be original and has not been published / submitted for publication in
other scientific conferences or journals.
4. Research
abstract should include objectives, methodology, results, value, challenges,
recommendations, future avenues, the keywords.
5. Papers
written in Arabic / English are accepted provided that an abstract should be
attached.
6. Essential
information should be provided on the cover page such as: conference name,
research title, author name, academic rank, organizational position or place of
work and e-mail.
7. The paper
should contain an abstract, introduction, main body, conclusion and references.
8. Paper format
margin must be (2.5cm) from all sides.
9. Number of
pages should not exceed (20) pages except references.
10. The
abstract should not exceed (400) words.
11. Simplified
Arabic writing with size 14, and 1.5 lines distance are required for the main
body of the paper.
12. Headings
are typed in bold 16, and 14 is required for the subheadings.
13.References should be written at the end of the paper, using APA style for
Referencing.
